ENVOY CLASS SUPER STAR DESTROYER LINE

Following the Emperors rise to power, in 20 BBY a new ship type was ordered by Palpatine to be researched and constructed, built as a protype and test platform what would later become the Executor Class, construction and planning of the Envoy Class Super Star Dreadnought started around 19BBY, under order and oversight of then Admiral Vox under the Emperors command. Being at the time twice as large, and slower than the final Executor production model, the 5 Envoy superstructures produced, were all designated for scrap and left incomplete and in disarray. The Envoy herself, being the first of the Envoy class line, was sent to the Zeffo scrapyards in 14BBY, with her two MKI sister ships joining her for final dispensation, with one being fully scrapped 3 years later with its parts stored onboard the Envoy. The two MKII revisions, were placed into long term storage at the Kuat Drive Yards facility at Kuat, for their parts and other items to be placed into the first production models of the Executor class, due to the MKII Envoy class units having the same specifications as the final Executor models.

"The Envoy will succeed where the rest of the Navy has obviously failed. Notify all commands, 331 is enroute." -Vox

Due to then Moff Vox's history overseeing the Envoy project, she appealed to the Emperor to be given the already aging remains of the class flagship - the Envoy, after seeing it during a planetary inspection of Zeffo in early 12BBY. As such the Envoy was recalled from scrap, and sent to Kuat for refit and immediate battle readiness - resulting in her a number of parts from the two stored Envoy MKII units being salvaged for parts. Its hull modified with a deep black super heavy stealth armor, making the huge ship invisible sensor wise and visually at all but at the closest ranges.

"All stations ready weapons, set heading two six zero, set thrust 73 percent, bank angle maximum and clean up this mess. The time it'll take us to come around we won't catch them ma'am. I don't need to catch them, just get me in range of the Autocannons. We are to fire upon our own ship, ma'am...? I'd sooner see the Vicegerent destroyed than in the hands of a Rebel, Admiral." - Fleet Admiral Juno and Vox

"Very well Admiral, you shall have the Vicegerent. The protection of Nardoria remains paramount." Vox, upon granting command of the Envoy 1 Class Dreadnought, the Vicegerent to Fleet Admiral Juno.

In 11BBY, the Envoy was officially deployed and put into service under command of then Grand Moff Vox, for the entire remainder of her Imperial servitude, until 35ABY, where it was disabled and ultimately crashed into the planet Nardoria, during the second battle of Nardoria, leaving it was left to rest, later becoming the founding area of the new city of Narodoria.

The Envoys immediate sister ship, the Vicegerent was also put into service slightly later, under command of Fleet Admiral Juno, serving as the primary defense for Nardoria. It was later destroyed when it fell to the planets surface after the New Republic invasion of Nardoria, with a lot of its parts being salvaged for the then battle worn Envoy.
