111TH MOBILE TASK FLEET

The 111th Mobile Task Fleet, also known as the 3rd Sector Command and the 3rd Army, (officially named the 21st Sector Fleet, 21st Sector Command and the 21st Army) was a fleet with ties back to the Republic, and later an Imperial reserve Sector Army/Fleet charged with the defense of Supreme Grand Moff Vox's Oversector 3 Outer (officially named Sector 21), an Oversector nestled between Sectors 19 and 6, also bordering territories with the 5th and 20th Sectors.Infuriated by this, she elected to establish her command on a Victory I class Star Destroyer, resigning her Servator to drydock. She was then transferred to serve under Vice Admiral Rampart. It was during her servitude under the Vice Admiral, she was introduced to then Governor, Wilhuff Tarkin. Vox's presence to Tarkin and her assigned workloads in assistance to Tarkin lead her to grow a fondness and respect for him, later leading her to become a devout follower of the Tarkin Doctrine. To Palpatine's annoyance, Tarkin would steer to an almost paternal affection for the young Commodore, a sight rarely seen from the Governor. Fueled by her anger, and with Tarkin's guidance, to Palpatine's pleasure she quickly became a cunning and ruthless officer, clashing with even Lord Vader's authority on occasion. Vox served a short stead as 2CO of the Imperial 1 Class Star Destroyer, the Executrix in 18 BBY, which was notably Tarkin's personal star destroyer.

At some point in 18 BBY, Vox formally joined with the ISB's Naval division, and that same year, Vox was promoted by Tarkin, to the rank of Admiral, and subsequently then promoted to Fleet Admiral due to her request to lead her own fleet. She designated her new fleet the 111th Fleet, and called on her old Servator class, among other ships into its ranks.

CLONE WARS

The 111th, at the time of the clone wars, was formed from the 327th Fleet, and was a reserve command fleet. Later on, it was repurposed after full control was granted to then Admiral Vox, and it was reassigned with the investigation and defense of new and upcoming threats from the unknown regions, however due to times of crisis, it became a sector less fleet; being called upon often by other sectors for emergency defense during battles, thus granting it the notorious title of the 111th Mobile Task Fleet, or 111th Mobile Assault Fleet.

IMPERIAL ERA

Once its Oversector had been officially designated and mapped, it became the furthest reaching Imperial presence in the known galaxy, spanning far into the Unknown Regions and bordering the Western Reaches, which resulted in clashes with the 19th, 20th, 5th and 6th Sectors. As per standard Oversector protocol, approximately 9 Type II Orbital Repair Yards were built throughout Oversector 3 Outer to provide localized maintenance and shipbuilding facilities. Repair yard designated VIC-7 above Nardoria, maintained a spotless record as the best yard in the sector, due to its efficiency. The 111th maintained a ruthless and feared reputation in protecting its territory, earning itself the nickname, The Red Fleet.

"I hear this dreadnought was named by your missing leader, Admiral. How fitting, for it too will soon be wiped from the galaxy as well!

"This name? Is something you will NEVER understand. Our fleet commanders immortalize themselves by naming the ships in their fleet to their liking, so even after they've gone beyond the veil, their legacy lives on; still here to smite vengeance against scum like you.
And this particular ship? It's named by Supreme Moff Vox. A name your commanders used to fear, and they're going to fear it again." -Fleet Admiral Juno, and General Gomez

DISAPPEARANCE OF THE RED FLEET

The Red Fleet gained notoriety due to the disappearance of a sizable fraction of its fleet consist, which went unnoticed and mostly undocumented in the anarchy after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. In 9 ABY, Chief Marshal Cisco was one of the many high ranking Republic officers designated to hunt down the remaining Moffs, Admirals and Generals of the Empire, and would hyperfixate on finding Supreme Grand Moff Vox for the next 7 years. In 16 ABY, Chief Marshal Cisco and his New Republic fleet would engage a Class 546 Command Cruiser, the Negator, which was Vox's personal mission command ship, and an Immobilizer 418 Arrestor Cruiser, the Resistor, the ships were tasked with the transportation of engine core #13 for the Envoy. The Negator would be successfully destroyed by the New Republic fleet, splitting into several large pieces after the engine core exploded, and the Resistor would retreat into hyperspace. Upon boarding the command section of the Negator, the New Republic forces discovered a complete Imperial Order of Battle on one of the functional bridge terminals, accessed by removing the code cylinders from the dead Captain of the Negator, Senior Captain Kai. Upon inspection of the data recovered from the terminal, they found that the Red Fleet Command constituted the most significant gap in their intelligence on the Imperial Fleet; they had lost almost 100 front-line capital ships, including 42 undergoing construction and/or repair. None was smaller than a Victory 1 Class Star Destroyer and included 5 Super Star Destroyers of varying class. Added to this total were later added, 9 Type II Orbital Repair Yards. Most importantly, the data would also provide the hyperspace operations data to navigate to the redacted 21st Sector.

"Now, that, can only be the Envoy. All of those prototype Super-Class vessels had those rediculous specifications. How its survived this long, it... terrifies me." - Unknown

Part of this mass disappearance was due to Supreme Grand Moff Vox, who before her evacuation into hyperspace, ordered all remaining ships to flee back into the Unknown Regions to protect Nardoria, and evade enemy engagements at all costs. Due to faulty intelligence provided by the ISB, Imperial Intelligence, and other security services; it was recorded that the fleet had been destroyed in full at Jakku.

Over the next decade, Vox's remnant forces would complete the construction and repairs on most of its ships and maintain a near silent presence within their original sector. There remains uncertainty how many ships were also constructed within those 10 years. At least 40 ships were recorded to have been deployed from the shipyards by 18 ABY. However, the 3 Envoy front line super-capitals remained unaccounted for on record. It also appears that an additional Type II shipyard was acquired during this time, codenamed VIC-10, it is assumed this is where the three Envoy super-capitals were repaired during this time. However, there was a secret eleventh, located on the far side of the planet of Nardoria, called VIC-11, which was the primary station charged with the repairs and maintenance of the fleet flagship, the Envoy herself, as well as her sister ships.

Additionally, there was confusion within the Republic High Command around the circumstances of the recall of the 111th Fleet at Jakku. Republic historians claimed that the entirely of the 111th was withdrawn 2 months after the Battle of Endor by Ysanne Isard, to defend Coruscant and other key Imperial holdouts in the core regions. However, these records contradict the 111ths areas of operation in the Unknown Regions. An addendum to an Imperial Report compiled by Imperial Controller - LT-111 (Lead IIO Officer aboard the Envoy) A section was added (probably by ISB Major Paraga) which states that all 111th Fleet Assets being repaired and stored at all VIC codenamed stations be pulled out and put onto the front lines in a bid to stem New Republic advances, but that the fleet never appeared. (Probably in an attempt to spread misinformation that the 111th was in fact, gone.) Theory suggests there is truth in both claims, but the truth came out during surveillance operations led by Chief Marshal Cisco.

"Rise together, fall together. Let your death be the final word in the story of your so-called Republic." - Supreme Grand Moff Vox, to Admiral Gomez before his execution and the destruction of Dare Squadron and the Outland Protection Fleet.

Chief Marshal Cisco would launch secret expeditions into the Unknown Regions to survey the 21st Sector, confirming their worst suspicions, on the multiple expeditions launched, multiple super-capital class ships were sighted, among vast amounts of capital class ships. Necessitating the requirement for a large-scale offensive operation, which the Republic did not have the resources for at that time, the Marshal instead opting to locate Vox before launching any military operations. He himself entered Nardoria airspace at a later date after Vox's return on a hijacked IIO, IGV-55 surveillance vessel, named the Eye of Vox, the flagship for ISB sector commander, Major Paroga, after Cisco lead a successful hijacking operation during the Eye of Vox's assignment to 5th Sector territory monitoring.

"She committed everything she had to this action, and she lost. Her Empire is dead." - Chief Marshal Cisco

By 18 ABY, the VIC stations had constructed a fleet of around one hundred and sixty new ships, ranging from Star Destroyers, to Corvettes. (18 ABY also denoted Vox's return into local space, arriving at Korriban.) Later on that year, Vox and her forces would reconnect proper, with Vox arrving in Nardoria space and reestablishing her command, by immediately launching expansionary offensive operations rimward, regaining territory lost to the 20th Sector, known as the Nardorian Purge. This of course, came to attention of the Republic, who immediately deployed Chief Marshal Cisco into Nardoria airspace to verify the accusations of Vox's return. Vox regained her lost territory and assembled her fleet back into its original consists, completing her final order to the 111th thirteen years after it was initially issued.

DESTRUCTION OF THE 111TH

In the following years, the 111th would sustain severe losses, and suffer heavily from supply chain shortages, as well as undermanned ships. The large majority of remaining ships would be destroyed during the Second Battle for Nardoria where the fleet is annihilated, and Vox dies, with the small number of remaining ships retreating under the command of Admiral Legasov, and have never been seen since.
